bartending job interview?
hey, i have a barback/bartending job interview next week. please tell me how to prepare for it, and what are the most common bartending/barback interview question. i don’t have any experience and even a smartserve certificate but i will be doing an online course later for immediate result.
so i’m asking how can i increase getting the job without any bartending experience (i work in a restaurant before though).
i will be getting my certificate 3 weeks by mail and how can i tell them that i don’t have an certificate because they want to see a certificate in the interview. and lastly should i sign up to any bartending courses to increase my chances of getting hired?
Barback might be a good starting job for you, and then work your way up. I have seen a lot of barbacks at my work learn how to make drinks just by watching, plus you don’t have to pay for school.
I was helping out with interviews last year. There were several applicants there and most of them have bartending school certificates. I asked everybody what a cape cod is, only 2 out of 10 people didn’t know.
