I have a job interview monday afternoon in NYC for a bartending job. What do you wear to an interrview like this? Are there any bartenders on here that could tell me?

It depends on the kind of bar it is. If it’s an upper-class place for snooty rich people, where professional, conservative clothes. If it’s a trashy little “hole-in-the-wall” type of bar, I really don’t think it matters what you wear.

My advice was to ‘dress the part’. I wore black slacks, black heels, and a white button-down shirt with minimal jewelry. And make sure whether you’re a guy or gal, that your shoes are shined!
