Is bar tending a fun job?
I’m awaiting the results from my state boards for nursing and want to start making enough money to move out of my uncle’s. I’m thinking about bar tending to supplement the cost and pay off some debt. Do you have to go to bar tending school first?
depending on where you live. but some places will hire you as a bar back. get you a bartending book and practice with water you can even up the any with food coloring. most drinks are very common just using a fancy name. Yes if you are a good bartender you can listen and smile alot. i did it for years i loved it and yes it is good money and i say go for it girl you meet new people, you hear their problems you laugh you giggle you smirk you frown all the emotions inside you but best of all you have a lot of fun and make good money at it if you choose not to do that then try waitressing it is also worth your time! happy pouring

You don’t need a diploma, you will never be asked by an employer to see your diploma. Anyone can hand out a diploma. Whats most important is learning how to work in a real bar .Bartending school teaches you how beer and wine is made. No one cares. Your customers come into the bar and ask you for a beer or a draft , they just want a beer. They don’t care how the beer was made. You really don’t need to sit in class to learn how to bartend.
If you are serious about wanting to become a bartender you should take the best bartending course offered on line. A step by step course that will teach you how to start your first day on the job and not fall apart because you are so stressed out and nervous. You will feel very confident after studying.
