A consistently proven classic. You won’t find a more economical tool in your kitchen, bar, RV, or wherever. The bonus to using this contraption is the physical satisfaction of manually grinding ice. I enjoy using this device, you can’t say that for a lot of things these days.

After only 4-5 uses this crusher began leaving rust spots on the crushed ice. Does it crush ice – Yes. Do you want to drink the ice that was crushed – NO. Not a smart buy.

I bought this only because the reviews were said to be a great product … and well .. the metal used rusted if not dried right after … the rust would fall into my crushed ice … and then after not even month the plastic broke on the product letting the big chunk fall throught!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS !!!!!

I looked at quite a few ice crushers before I settled on this one, and when it came I loved it. It crushed the ice to the exactly right consistency, it was simple to use and easy to store. I used it almost every day, sometimes twice a day. Then, barely two weeks into owning it, the plastic teeth on one side broke.
I can still use it if I put ice on one side and rotate the handle one way to keep the ice on the side where there still are plastic teeth, but obviously it’s much more of a hassle then it used to be.
This is so unfortunate because otherwise this crusher was perfect. The fact that I’m debating whether to buy another one speaks to how much I liked it, but of course I’m a little nervous about the chance of this happening again. I think it might be hard to find a replacement I’ll like as much as this one.

I had high hopes. It worked alright, but would be a challenge for an elderly person to crank it.
The suction function only worked properly for a few weeks ( I used this item daily) then it was a hassle to keep it in place. The worst part, of course, was that the inside of the cap is of plastic, and the blades are metal. Well the plastic “grid” or “teeth” inside of the bin broke off, making this useless. If the entire cap were metal, and the suction were better designed it would be great. As it is currently designed and manufactured it is only OK if you are planning to use it infrequently.
