Is it illegal for bars to sell Smirnoff Ice Malft Beverage on Sundays in Ohio?
I was in a Bar the other day on Super Bowl Sunday and they refused to sell Smirnoff Ice and Bacardi Raz wibe coolers saying they were against the law to sell. I know Smirnoff vodka and Bacardi liquor is illegal….but not the malt beverages. All other bars sell it, but yet this specific one does not… Do certain licenses say you can not serve these drinks???
Your bartender just didn’t know sh*t. Next time, ask to see a bottle and show him/her that it IS NOT made with hard spirits (assuming that’s what you’re talking about, as far as Sunday restrictions)
