This carafe is very attractive and i like the size, it’s not heavy and the spout is easy to remove and it is dripless. i am glad i purchased it!

I purchased two of these and had the following problems:
* tiny metal shavings around the spout
* extremely sharp metal spout that can gave me a nasty cut
* the metal piece separated from the rubber spout
* warped lip area (where it’s suppose to catch the oil from dribbling) due to item packaging (not ship packaging)
The metal piece was not properly deburred and left extremely sharp. The item packaging is poorly designed because the box flap folds in to hold the cruet by the spout which then causes the lip to warp. A warp lip may cause oil to dribble out. Also, you have to remove the spout from the bottle by pulling on the metal piece which is attached with only a little bit of glue.

I bought this for my mother for a Christmas gift. She loves it! It is very pretty, and works amazingly well. Mine at home always pours to much oil, i LOVE this one! I’m thinking of getting a second for my kitchen.
