to have been a used book it barley looked used at all. There was only one little bend on the corner and that could be on any book in any new book store. I was extremly pleased with my purchase. It was shipped prompty as well. I liked that.

This is a well formatted and concise reference book for non-professionals.
It’s smaller size is appreciated considering bar space.
However, it could be a bit larger in hight and width with slightly larger print.
The binding is nice and the cover is sturdy and even rich appearing.
A smaller abbreviated paperback version would be nice addition for an informal party bar.

This is a great book. Mittie Hellmich knows exactly what she is talking about when it comes to stocking a bar with the essential and non essetials. She is clear and concise and gives the reader the confidence to have and work the best home bar there is. There is history, recipes and a plethora of information for perfection behind the bar, making it the only Bar Book you really need. Her Mini Bar books are also great to have on hand, they are really fun and festive.
