Mr. Chris, I’m a 4th year high school student from Philippines and our teacher gave our class bartending/flairing as our practicum… can you suggest some good music for our routine? and what moves or tricks can you suggest for a group with three members to execute?

i hope you can answer my questions ^^

Doesn’t this depond on how full the bottle is in terms of how it feels and how you toss it? I’m watching alot of bartending videos and I would think going from an empty to a full or even half full bottle it would be like relearning the trick?

thnks man! got a lot of learnings frm u hehe,. tnxs a lot.

great teacher. seem to be a down to earth fella aswell

By protouchmakeup73 on October 2nd, 2011 at 8:26 am

What do u do with all the alcohol u throw it

By mansitopinta on October 2nd, 2011 at 8:32 am

Thanks !! I’ll keep it in mind

she counts differently on the two jigger counts…i wont be taking her advice again

these aren’t even tips, its just common sense that’ll come by naturally if you’re to lazy to use the jigger….

……Or u just take the bottles in ur hand and go with the countingtechnique -.-

By SillyEddyPhotography on October 2nd, 2011 at 10:30 am

If you’re not sure on your measurement, you’re breaking the law and putting the customer at danger. If in doubt… Jigger. It doesn’t look as professional as free pouring (which should be done vertically) but at least the customer will be buying what they asked for.

By applebitefool on October 2nd, 2011 at 10:53 am

You arent very good or accurate…sorry

By horsethefan on October 2nd, 2011 at 11:10 am

@TheMiltonaraujo you need to practice how fast or slow you are counting to 4… 1 ounce does not equal 4 seconds.. you’ll pour half the bottle out you dumb fuck

By lleandrodiaz1 on October 2nd, 2011 at 12:00 pm

ur not measuring alcohol, ur measuring quantity

By jwingfield01 on October 2nd, 2011 at 12:08 pm

Your customer won’t know your uncertain about your measurement unless they watched this video….

By hannahbaby202 on October 2nd, 2011 at 12:55 pm

@0741309876 well have fun because you cant be a bartender until you’re 21

By hannahbaby202 on October 2nd, 2011 at 1:54 pm

that shit is not an ounce it looks huge haha

By TheMiltonaraujo on October 2nd, 2011 at 2:13 pm

It is not practice. It’s Logic. 1 oz. equals 4 seconds. You just saw it.

By camillewallace on October 2nd, 2011 at 2:30 pm

are there jiggers for 1/2 oz? Does anyone know how many “counts” you need for 1/2 oz?

By CUTEchick2718 on October 2nd, 2011 at 3:18 pm

@bmoney1590 Not wrong. Yeah, a shot is 1 1/2 oz, but jigger sizes ARE 3/4 oz and 1 oz as that way you can make almost any amount size needed for mixed drinks.

By gympatrick on October 2nd, 2011 at 4:01 pm
