7th Series now out. Only major change is to control panel battery box and battery.. We now have our own BarChefs brand batteries for our products that are designed for our systems. We should have a new demonstration video up in the near future so we recommend you view it when available at BarChefs.com under cocktail bars.

We are now on the 6th series of production. Series 6 units operate via remote control, are now 57” as opposed to 56”, and have improved structural design.

Thank you so much for this video. I guess I’m super-stupid, but I couldn’t figure out how to secure this thing in the doorframe without the screws and was thinking about returning that thing to the shop. Now I’m totally happy.

hey ,
i think i got the exact same bar as you but mine says i have to install the cup things on my door before use and ive tried that but i cant drill into my door frame so i tried it without the cup things on another doorframe and it works and when i tighten it onto the door frame it makes a werid noise like its going to snap the frame , do u think i should carry on using it or what ?

I’m 100.17kg… :(

By nizstruck on May 27th, 2011 at 5:57 am

so it should work for someone who weighs +-65 kilos, cause i’m considering buying one. only thing is the height, i’ll probably have to bend my legs while doing pull ups then

@idunohhy it s prob stripped

By idunnohy on May 27th, 2011 at 6:36 am

@jennennk
Im not sure whether its the exact same model, but my one consists of two bars that can be unscrewed out at the side, the centre bar, and a threaded rod inside. By simply unscrewing the centre bar from the threaded rod, i had efficiently taken all the components apart. However im still not sure what the problem is. Could you tell me if the threaded rod had any attachments to it? I remember that there was a tiny part covered by a exterior covering, and i removed it because it was broken

By jennennk on May 27th, 2011 at 7:16 am

Hi. If you’ve taken it apart and taken that middle screw out, it’s very hard to fix it all back into place. I did it about 4 years ago, but I can’t remember how. All I remember is that it took a good hour. I’d recommend buying a new one.

Hey dude, i have one of these bars and ive been using them for a while. but today i found out when i cant tighten it anymore when i try to turn it from the inside. it just keeps turning and turning with no sign of tightening. i tried taking it apart and putting it back together but it still cant be tightened. could you help me with this problem?
thanks loads

@jennennk Thank you for taking time to upload this video man. But, if I can ask a question, is there any particular Chin-up Bar you recommend?
